During my recent macro photography trip I spotted a dragonfly repeatedly using the same perch in a shaded region. After thinking for a while I have decided to use different forms and shapes of
light and shade backdrops to make some of these images. While I often spend lots of money going to far off national parks and sanctuaries the satisfaction I derive from making these images at my
own backyards is no less. In fact, I think we tend to think more and get more innovative when we have 'nothing' there to photograph. At the end we tend to make as satisfying or more satisfying images.
