My Favourite Wild Places
There are several of them but some National Parks like Corbet National Park and
Bharatpur comes top in my list. I intend to write a short note on these parks
shortly. Closer home, Jog Falls is a beautiful water falls which happens to be
the highest in India. You can look at some of the images through the links below.
Jog Falls
Jog Falls is one of the beautiful water falls in Western Ghats ranges in India.
I lived near this beautiful water falls for years. Every monsoon it comes back
to life and I spend a day or two enjoying its beauty.
Little Runn of Kutch
I visited Little Runn of Kutch during 1st week of Jan 2007. Amazing place to
say the least.
Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary
Daroji Bear Sanctuary in northern part of Karnataka, India is an excellent place
to see and photograph sloth bears. Here is a gallery of images I made there.
Corbett National Park
27th May 2007 - I took a week off last week and visited my favourite Corbet National Park
in India. During last 3 years I made four trips to this beautiful wildlife Sanctuary.
Lot to write about it, but no time for now. Meanwhile you may enjoy some of my
visions from Corbet. (Will add more images soon - other images are being processed as of today)
Western Ghats
I was born and brought in a small village near Western Ghats. Lots of dreams to make images
of its flora and fauna - long journey ahead. For more details about Western Ghats visit
Wiki.
Kaziranga National Park
Finally I could visit Kaziranga for the first time during Feb 2008. A beautiful national parks.
The park is devided into Central, Western and Eastern zones. All are very beautiful. Eastern
is very good for bird photography and central and western gives ample opportunities to see and
make images of Indian one horned Rhinos and buffalos. A must visit for nature lovers and nature
photographers. Here is a gallery on some of the images I made at Kaziranga National Park. I hope
to visit this park again in future - I am not done still !
