Mahesh!

While there is an elephant of truth in what you said I think it is still possbile to pre-conceive and make images even when our subjects are dynamic. For example places like Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary offers lots of such possibilities.

- Regards,
Ganesh H Shankar

Hi Ganesh,
Which side we lean towards either creation or capture also seems to be dependent on the subject. For static subjects ( like a beautiful flower ) preconcieved shots seem to work well but for dynamic shots ( like birds ) luck seems to play an important part in translating a mental creation into reality. In the end looks like we are happy if the creations in our mind becomes a reality but I guess we are also equally excited and happy when nature offers us something as a surprise which we did not conceive off ....

Good to see that you are blogging Ganesh. It would be nice to read your views and thoughts on a regular basis.

-Mahesh
