Some time back Journal of Landscape Architecture requested me to write an article on Landscape Photography for their 8th anniversary issue. Just received the new issue with my article on landscape photography.

Happened to go through the article just a few hours ago.. I would have really loved something from you about seeing the beauty of the landscapes from a photographer’s perspective, than a technical overview. May be I can read about someday on this blog?

Arun, the article was written keeping the magazine’s readership in mind – mainly landscape architects (not necessarily landscape photographers). The magazine wanted me to cover some of the basics and technical information. I have added some of my thoughts as a photographer in “Art of Landscape Photography” section (yes, not much). Personally I believe landscape photography goes far beyond caturing the beauty of nature (documentation) to bringing in our interpretation of the beauty of the nature as photographers. May be I will get some time to spill out those thoughts some day here. Thanks for your views..
